Difficulty Filling the Gas Tank: What EVAP Codes Usually Mean
Slow fill, repeated nozzle shutoff, or fuel backing up in the filler neck usually means the EVAP system cannot vent the tank normally while fuel is entering. In real diagnosis, that often overlaps with P0446-style vent faults, pressure-sensor codes, overfilled canisters, and sometimes purge-system problems that contaminated the canister earlier.
