Reduced Brake Assist: Booster Vacuum, Pump, or Pressure-Sensor Story?

If braking still works but pedal effort is clearly higher than normal, treat reduced assist as a brake-support problem first. The key split is between lost vacuum or pump supply, a leaking booster or check valve, and sensor feedback that is lying about assist.
